Assuming the appeals are turned down, then it comes to this.
Your eccentric friend says she registered your car and the PPC says she didn't. So some questions:-
What is the registration process?
What proof does the registrant get to acknowledge registration?
How do you know she didn't make a mistake with the registration number (O instead of 0, for example or some other mistake )?
Can she demand a copy of her registrations on that day in case she made the mistake?
Your weakness in your case is that you are dependent on a 3rd party having done something and you can't actually prove that they did or did it correctly.0 -
Thank you Guys Dad. This is my concern and my wondering which approach I should take
Whether to say it was registered . She has given me the number she rang but she in not sure of exactly when and she is finding this quite stressful.
Or go with the letter I posted last night.
Very unsure0 -
Guys Dad is absolutely right. You need to consider that point.
Not sure how that should influence your decision to send the appeal though.0 -
I am not sure whether to mention it or not?
All she could do was give me the number she rang.0 -
Please re-read post #11.0

If the right thing was to make up your own appeal, the NEWBIES thread would say so. It doesn't.
There is a template appeal for a reason, to stop daft ''toe-shooting off'' by people who can't write without blabbing about the driver.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, I have been reading more on this Forum and glad I did as I have learnt quite a bit.
I am now ready to submit my appeal via the company's website. I have clicked on Appeal and entered my details.
It goes onto ask: Were you the driver? Are you the Registered Keeper?
Do I click NO to driver and Yes to RK or should I refrain from answering these two questions and just click onto proceed?
Thank you!0
