I have come into some money thats to be paid to me in the next two weeks or so, the money adds up to around £5500, i have booked my family a holiday of a lifetime to Florida next year (nov 4 2008), this has to be paid up 12 weeks before the holiday, We are saving up and going to pay what we can off the holiday as and when we can along the way, and pay the balance (if any) 12 weeks before we go (aug 12-ish 2008).
what is the best way for this £5500 to make more money and be able to get at it when we need to if we need to but defo to get at it when we go to Florida:rotfl:
ideally i would like to pay the balance off myself thru saving up and ferreting money away so all we have to worry about is spending money and the attractions tix etc, obviously if i pay the holiday off i will still ferret money away, what i am trying to ask is how do i make this money work for its self intime for end of July next year
thanx for reading

Speaking personally I would pay the holiday off in one lump sum instead of letting it drag on.
Whateven money is left should be put into an ISA.0
