Has BT blocked any indirect access?

I am a bit puzzled checking my bt bill online not yet billed so could not see individual calls. I usually make my calls using 18185 and noticed in my online bill I have made 14 chargeable calls and my phone bill is nearly £8. I am just wondering whether the 18185 access has been blocked. Thanks

18185 is still working on Plusnet, so I think it's extremely unlikely that BT Retail have disabled access either.
Furthermore , if you dial a number prefixed by 18185 on a Sky line (for example) you get the unobtainable signal, so not sure how you could have been connected !
Has your phone got some sort of pre-dialler which could have failed or been reset??0
