I presume you're talking about when fixed monthly Direct Debits are taken out? You can generally choose a date thats best for you, normally anything between the 1st and 28th of the month.
If you by variable Direct Debit it should let you know on the bill.

As Dell says, if you mean DD's your Supplier will have a selection of run dates for you to choose from.
However, if you mean when does their billing cycle produce a quarterly bill to you, you need to ask your Supplier as it may be slightly different. They work around the seasons though so there will be a range to bill from e.g. December, March, June, September as they have to run inline with the meter readers to use their readings.
