Does annual travel insurance cover pre booked trips

Hi,

I have a few day trips and a couple of breaks booked for later in the year. If I take out an annual travel insurance policy, would this cover for these pre-booked trips, or only for any trips booked/purchased after the policy is purchased?

Thanks in advance!

    All trips involving overnights

(Day trips are unlikely to be covered by any travel policy - if you want insurance for day trips see if a local broker ( not Swinton) can help)
