Parking charge notice Premier Park

Breck
I have been issued with a parking charge notice by Premier Park who display their parking notice in Newbury Retail Park in Ilford a reduced charge of £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 if I don’t for overstay of 2 minutes 16 seconds! On their parking notice it states that parking period commences 5 minutes after entering car park. They belong to the British Parking association who also state that customers should be given 10 minutes grace at the end of parking. There are only 3 shops in this Retail Park, one of which is Aldi, Babies are Us (now closed due to going into Adminstration) and Pets at Home. I had been shopping in Aldi and then went into Babies are Us. I have contacted Aldi to see if they can cancel this but they say that they do not use Premier Park even though their shop is on that retail park and Aldi customers use it, and so are unable to help me. So do I appeal this charge? Thanks for any help.

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with this
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving.
You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving0 -
I'm trying to understand how so many people post without reading:
NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST
Is it due to accessing the forum on your phone? Or did you not read any threads (please start now) or what else can we do to make sure people read the sticky (at the top) thread first?
The appeal is there, no-one needs to ask 'do I appeal' and appear clueless as to how.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, do you have an update on the status of your appeal?
funny enough I'm also in the same boat as you, same place in Newbury Retail park ilford at around the same time time, i think it's because after the driver shopped at Aldi, they must've had a stroll in Toys R Us due to its closing down sale. The registered now keeper however received a FINAL REMINDER as a first letter, so didn't received any correspondence before and now its asking for £115.
This letter doesn't state date/time of when the event took place, so had to go online to check pics of the vehicle showing date and time.
I am now looking to use the template letter on the main post as it is along with a pic of the store receipt.0 -
As long as you don't blow it by saying 'my receipt' or 'I was shopping'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
