I was one of the unlucky customers to get a letter a few months ago from Virgin telling me they were doubling my interest from 13.9% to 27.9%. After phoning them and asking nicely they agreed to keep my interest at 13.9%. However when my statement came in this month.....yes you've guest it..the interest was worked out at 27.9! I phoned them and they confirmed it was meant to be at the lower rate and promised it would be refunded next month. Im wondering if this was a genuine mistake or do they chance their arm hoping we wont check! Just a warning to you all...Check your statements!
