Holylemonjuice, have you been looking for the NEWBIES thread since I first mentioned it - in post #3 above - in May 2018?0

They are asking more than the law allows, read this

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Hi, thanks again for your help thus far. Newbies thread is amazing, sorry for my ignorance, I find forums a little confusing but I really do appreciate all your help, you're all really decent people.
Following your advice I have requested a SAR and have received this back. I also contacted BWLegal to notify them and ask they put the case on hold and as predicted they refused.
Now I have the SAR information back, what would be my next step? Just wait it out?0 -
The point of submitting a SAR is to receive information about WHY the PPC are chasing you for payment of their invoice. This is to be used when you compile and submit your Witness Statement (WS). Have you actually received a LBC/LoC/LBCCC yet or court claim papers? Have you submitted a defence?0

ah, ok I see. I haven't yet received anything from court, so I'll just sit tight till I do then I'll have another read on some other cases on here to put together a defence.0
