The form is wanting to know a reason for the appeal, here's a screenshot for the reasons.

    Which 1 should be chosen.

Can only see 1 being suitable. I didn't receive the Charge Notice on my vehicle". There's no "other" option.

Same thing was asked yesterday. Obviously that's the only safe one.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi all

The RK has received a response to the appeal.

It says " that responsibility for this Charge lies with the driver of the vehicle at the time the parking contravention was observed. However, we are unable to ascertain who the driver was on the date in questions from the information given within your appeal.

In order for the appeal to be processed correctly there's 2 instructions

1 They either want the RK to notify the driver that they need to appeal directly

2 If I am representing the driver they require a signed and dated statement from the driver of the vehicle confirming that you are authorised to appeal on his/her behalf; this needs to be an original signature and not a photocopy or a stamp.

OR the PCN is paid via the myparking charge website, they have even offered a gesture of goodwill to the RK and put the charge on hold for an extra 14 days which is ever so nice of them.

It also says if payment of £60 isn't received by 8/06 then it will revert to £100 and failure to pay it within the stated times may result in Debt Recovery Action being taken and further costs up to an additional £60 being incurred.

The RK has 1 question if they may

The email was sent from Excel Parking Services, the letter/email is on headed paper with VCS at the top and the signs also have VCS as a named firm for managing & controlling the car park.

Does this aid the case or not ?

I can get the response posted up if that would be easier.

    Thanks

With not been here before would the RK just need to wait it out for another email saying they aren't bothering or its going to court ?
