then when you transfer the money from paypal, the bank charge you.
How come? It's just a straight credit to your account - or do you pay for credits anyway, in which case it's nothing to do with it being from Paypal?
You can wait for the various 'specials', cheap listing days and the like...every little saving helps! These are always Thursdays as well which is a good day to list as it gives you a 10 day run to a weekend finish.0 -
if u sell a lot of items on ebay u can reduce ur overall fees by using auctiva.com0

lol
When someone pays by paypal I get charged 3.4% + 0.20 from paypal. This was the fee which I think is too much. But also I have a business account with HSBC and I get charged for ever credit which goes in, wether it is an electronic transfer or just paying in cash, I get charged.

I used auctiva but I don't seem to see a reduction in fees. Do you mean by using the auctiva checkout.0 -
Abbey business don't charge for credit going into your account - maybe look at changing banks then?
Like I said earlier look into having a merchant account - you will then see that paypal is not massively expensive.
You could also do what all other internet and B&M shops do and build the fees into your selling price.0
