Thanks for swift response miss price .
Not sure how to post pics on mse. The fridge freezer is silver grey , the mark in question is a wavy , scribbly whiteish water type mark
A bit like the outline of a map. I used a flash wipe and it made no difference .

I can remember years ago, an item on Watchdog about this.
People were complaining about this product damaging fridge doors.
The manufacurer did say there was a warning on the bottles, not to use on fridges.

Sorry, i know this doesn't help you.

You could always put a fridge magnet where the mark is.

We have a "stainless steel" fridge, I've found the only way to get out of a situation like this is to clean the whole panel with the Flash so it all looks the same.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

You could try wiping it with a bit of baby oil. It won't get rid of the mark if you've damaged the finish but it might tone it down a bit.

Sounds bonkers but peanut butter may also work, I've used it on car door mirrors to great effect.

You could try MER car polish, (from Halfords) as it does have a mild 'cutting' properties, which would possibly improve the finish. You would need to do the complete door, to make it look as good as possible.
