Pet urine stain on wool carpet

Hi, Has anyone successfully removed dog urine (now dried in) from a wool carpet? We recently moved to a new house that has light wool carpets - a nightmare to keep clean, especially when the dog decides to have an accident on it... The big, extremely visible urine stain we now have on the carpet rather takes the shine off showing people round our new home!

I can't offer any advice although I do know that dried stains are very hard to shift.
Would a rug cover up the stain or is it an odd position for a rug?0 -

I've heard of some unusual pets but that is the strangest.0 -
Start budgeting for a new polypropylene carpet. Or hard floors, preferably. It's going to get wrecked.
In the meantime, hire a Rug Doctor.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I use a mix of bicarbonate and white vinegar, it’ll lessen the stain and remove the smell.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0
