Generator cost

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, we are hiring a band and they've quoted an additional £250 for the hire of their generator, does this sound about right?

Do you require the generator or does the band?

The band require the generator. They have come in at what I think is a reasonable price for their services but wondering if they've done this knowing there are extra fees such as hiring a stage and hiring a generator off them (someone they work with)

I would expect the hire price to include all their requirements. What next? extra to hire their instruments?

I was a little surprised this morning when I got the call from their PA guy. Paying extra for stage/marquee I kind of expected as we want them outdoors, but I hadn't factored in another £250 on top. It's only a housewarming party and we definitely don't have a huge pot!
