    £25 per month?

    The details are here https://www.lloydsbank.com/savings.asp?WT.ac=NavBarTop/Navigation/Public/navigation/top_nav/savings/All_savings_accounts#all-savings-accounts

Not difficult to find (depending on what you really want to know).

That just states the minimum deposit required (for 1st payment and any subsequent payment) not what the operating minimum balance has to be.

Well I don't know the formal position as I'm usually more interested in maximums than minimums but given that you can make unlimited withdrawals one presumes it's 0. The minimum monthly payment is £25 but if you look at kidmugsy's post #5 this may not be mandatory either. I'm not sure why you would open one of these, especially the 3% one, if you're not going to use it

It's due to me having 3 regular savings open at the same time with a limited amount of money. I'm just trying to get the maximum amount of interest with the amount I had. At some point I will need to transfer out money from the MS to the CLMS. I'm planning on fully maxing out the CL's one so really this question was about the standard Monthly Saver.

Hope that makes sense. I believe you're allowed to miss payments but if you do make a contribution, the minimum it can be is £25.

I was closing down some accounts due to the Tesco situation with the dd's needed[/QUOTE]
If you opened your Tesco's accounts (two allowed) some time ago they didn't need any DDs. Hope you haven't closed some Tesco accounts needlessly
