I need a mug with a lid that keeps the tea in

Okay guys, I'm on a mission here.
Because I walk in a peculiar manner, I can't carry a cup of tea/coffee or any other liquids without slopping it.
At home this is no problem, either my O/H carries it for me, or I drink my drink in the kitchen. But at work I get fed-up with having to ask someone if they will take my tea to my desk for me.
I know there are lots of travel mugs about, but I don't want to drink out of a thick walled mug which has a plastic inner, it doesn't feel nice.
So I want a nice ceramic mug, with a handle, and a lid of some sort that I can take off the top when I reach my desk. Preferably for about a tenner or less if possible (can pay more if that's the only way I can get what I need).
Anyone got any ideas?

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Use a travel mug just for the transportation, whe you get to your desk, transfer it to your mug .
Or make a flaskful then that cuts down the amount of times it has to be carried back and forthmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
How about this:

I just searched for 'tea cup with lid' and that was one of the first results, so there might be different patterned ones.
This is the search, there looks to be quite a few options:

I'm not a fan of any travel mugs, porcelain or otherwise. However, I do have a porcelain coaster that has raised sides. I use it over my mug to keep my drink hot, but it could be used as a lid. I bought it from a garden centre for about £3.
It's similar to this, although this link includes the mug as well:

This one is expensive, but quite nice:

Etsy have a few to choose from:

This website has china mugs with infusers and lids:

You can get a soft silicon cover that fits over your own mug called a SafeSip Reusable spill proof cover available on ebay or Amazon0

If you're likely to drop it, or could do with being able to put it in a bag or pocket whilst you're walking, I'd get a stainless steel screw top mug or small flask. You can then either leave your mug at your desk and decant from the screw top one to your nice one, or drink out of the screw top one. I do that at home too, means I can make a coffee and carry it safely, doubles as a pocket size flask too.0

I used to have a ceramic mug with a coaster that can be used to cover mug. It's not fixed though beyond the sides of coaster that stop it sliding off. For example https://smile.amazon.co.uk/London-Theme-Mug-Coaster-Set/dp/B008WBED6Q/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1526032962&sr=8-15&keywords=mug+%26+coaster0

That's the type of coaster that I have (mentioned in my post above). The only difference is the pattern - mine has a barn owl on it.0 -

Does anyone else find it frustrating when a post is made, people help, and then the OP is online on more than one occasion but does not acknowledge that their question has received any response?0
