Ppi help please

Hi all,
I have no idea how to go above this ppi claiming, but a long time ago, approx 10 years I had a car loan from mini finance. I had PPI (and when I actuallly needed it, it didn’t pay out!) I lost my job due to being ill and they said I wasn’t covered for help with payments.
My question is though, I ended up having the car taken away as I couldn’t make the payments. I am unsure if I should go ahead with claiming for PPI? I’ve read that if you hadn’t paid back the loan then you can end up owing money if you claim PPi? From memory after they had sold the car I still owed about £3k on it. It was sold to debt collectors but I never paid any of it off and I haven’t heard about it for years.
Could anyone advise if I should put in a claim for Ppi miss selling?
Many thanks

While you won't owe any more than you currently do, any redress awarded from a PPI complaint can and will be offset against monies you failed to pay in the first place.I!!!8217;ve read that if you hadn!!!8217;t paid back the loan then you can end up owing money if you claim PPi?
In your situation, probably wise simply to forget about any complaint..0
