where to sell a "not for resale" dvd

I've won a dvd in a competition that I was hoping to resell on amazon, but it has arrived with a company logo on the front, and a small logo on the back saying it is not to be resold. I can't put it on amazon, because its different to the ones they list.

Before anyone shouts at me, I do know there is a legal reason for not reselling these, but was wondering whether it would be ok to put it on ebay, where buyers might not mind so much?

Yes, you can resell on eBay or at a bootsale. You should mention that it has "not for resale" on it, of course.

I don't see how they can say you can re-sell it, you won it, it's your property to do with as you wish!

if selling on eBay, then be aware of any Vero owners who may take exception to it.

Tactically speaking, list it on a Thursday night for 3 days, less chance of any action being taken against it.

Is it no different to selling off the free cds/dvds you get with the newspapers? They do not seem to stop poeple from selling those.

i got 3 free dvds a while back and sold them on ebay with no problem,as long as your honest and put this in the description you should be ok.
