    Hello!
Well I had a nasty wake up call when I came back from hols. Been off and on plan for about the last three weeks- eaten some absolutely amazing and very yummy food and drink but that resulted in a gain of 10.5lbs  been fully on plan for nearly a week now and I have lost 5.5 already :j
Not weighing until Wednesday so hopefully the results will be okay by then :D not dared to wear my jeans in over a month but tentatively wore my size 18!!!8217;s to work yesterday. All good thankfully- they felt odd as I had not worn them in so long but not uncomfortable. Have gone back to 20 Syns as I went so far over the 16 stone marker but will reduce again once I dip back under it.
    The menu for today:
B: HEXB Weetabix x 2 with Light and Free yoghurt, blueberries. Decaf coffee (1.5 Syns for milk)
L: Tuna couscous salad with lemon and herb dressing (2) Finger of Fudge (5.5) pear, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink (+1.5)
T: SW fish pie ready meal, broccoli green beans and peas. Water
Snack at bingo: 2 x HiFis (6) Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5) flat peach, apple, water
    Syns:20
Only managed to read back 10 pages but hope all is well and hope that Mr Bubbs feet are recovering!
    Love to you all xxx

    Morning all

    I can report STS

Actually I have lost a bit according to the scales, but as I keep rounding up the odd ounces they have eventually caught up with me.

I have had a few too many treats lately which I need to stop before things get out of control.

Good idea to keep your eye on the treats.
As you say they creep in almost without noticing.

Hello everyone, not sure I dare show my face here again!! I've been so on and off the bandwagon over the last couple of years ... I can't think of a way to finish this analogy. Suffice to say I've been on and off it a lot.

I think so much depends on your mental health with weight loss - if you're stressed or unhappy it's just never going to work, it's just another thing to have to think about and feel bad about. My work situation has been all over the place the last few years - stressful jobs, no jobs, temp jobs and applying for jobs constantly - it's no wonder I've not been able to focus, and I'm not going to beat myself up about it any more. I am in a longer-term temp job at the moment, feeling settled, with a few permanent posts coming up that I plan to apply for. So it feels like a better time.

I briefly had a bash at calorie counting because I wanted to eat more bread and not have to think about squeezing in Speed all the time. But OMG all the weighing and measuring and calculating is so tedious!

So I'm back to SW. Once again at a new Highest Weight Ever. It's 28 weeks until 2019 and I have 58lbs to lose for my ultimate goal weight. That would mean losing just over 2lbs per week which is totally doable. As long as I concentrate! If I fall a bit short then my birthday is six weeks after Christmas so that would be a good date to aim for also. I won't join the current challenge, just aim to get back in the swing ready for the next one.

    Today's plan:

B - Mullerlight, 2 clementines, passionfruit, pomegranate seeds.
D - Fry up of bacon, potatoes, spring onion, mushrooms and egg.
T - Patatas bravas with meatballs recipe from May/June mag, salad
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - 16 almonds
Syns - Sugar in coffee (2 so far), coconut oil (2)... I'll report back later.

Hope everyone is well. I had a glance through the last couple of pages and there are a lot of names I don't recognise :o What has happened to Bubbs' hubbs? Sunburn? Sounds awful, hope he gets some relief soon.

  • Morning all,

Reporting a STS for me this week. I’ve had a lot of cake (birthdays), a lot of bread which I don’t normally have and too much chocolate. I’m feeling pretty sick of sweet stuff so I’ve really overdone it! Thankfully I haven’t gained but just hope it won’t hit me next week.

Hope you got home okay BUBBS and that your husband is on the mend soon and getting his burns looked at.

Welcome back TETE, good to see you here. I don’t post much but try to check in weekly just to stay vaguely on track. Good luck with the restart. Even a few days on plan can really make a difference, both physically and mentally.

My plan this week is lots of speed, batch cooking which I don’t seem to have done for ages, lots of water and keep my exercise up. Fingers crossed for a good week and good luck to everyone else.
