Well done to all the losers - some good ones this week. I weighed yesterday and still under target a bit so that's fine. My shopping friend who persuaded me into a smaller size was so right - since I've been wearing clothes that fit me properly, lots of people have commented on my weight loss. I hate trying on - such a faff getting undressed and dressed again in a tiny space and I never seem to be wearing the right shoes/ underwear etc - but I think I must bite the bullet now.

I'm reporting a 3lb gain. I guess watching my diet whilst having radiotherapy (with a 4 hour round commute to get to the treatments) isn't easy to do. Still, I might have had a bigger gain if I hadn't at least been trying to be careful, so I'll keep trying.

That is some commute to have to do while having treatment

Beanielou...no not the rock choir just a ladies choir in the valleys. Tbh I was thinking about giving it up a few months back as the atmosphere was awful but there was a change at the helm and not it's a real pleasure to go there.

Bubbs - hope the flight back isn't too uncomfortable for your OH & that you get him to see someone when you get home.

Sky - you're doing better than I would with that travel undergoing that treatment...I think I'd be eating carp permanently.

As for me well it was +1/2 lb a little disappointed given the amount of exercise I had last weekend but hey ho. Finally managed to book a gp appt about my shoulder- have to wait 3 weeks but I guess I've lived with it this long so another 3 weeks isn't a big deal.

Thanks Beanielou and gettingtheresometime, it is a bit grim at the moment, but it's better than not having the treatment. I've almost finished it now, then I just have the recovery time to manage before I can start to get on with life again. I'm hoping to go to a group again soonish, then I can be in the flow of slimming world eating before I go back to work in a few weeks time.

Don't rusk your recovery, take your time to heal and then begin to enjoy life before you add things like work and dieting to it again x

Hello all, well done losers and hugs to those in Need :A

WI with loss of 1.4lb happy with that as been a really tiring week for everyone in ks2 what with 2 sports days ( walked to UEA and back) . End result was Friday melt down for his nibs .
Off to the beach next Thursday with Y1, that’ll be fun :eek:

Not read back will later or in the Morning, we are here , we have checked in luggage and mr bubbs is still standing but it has all leaked already through dressings and on his jeans on one leg:o my sister is meeting us at Heathrow with bowl, ice and water so he can get his feet in it asap. Don't care if it sloshes in the car it's ours:rotfl:
