Unresponsive iPhone Screen

I have an iPhone 5s and its recently developed an unresponsive screen when I initally open it up using touch/passcode but it works fine after I close the screen and open it up on the second attempt. It just doesn’t seem responsive the first time.

I’ve tried rebooting and powering off the phone but im still having the same issue. Any help/suggestions would be great.

This might help but if you're unsure then better popping into a Apple Store.

tried a factory reset but im still having the same issue...any other suggestions?
