Anyone recommend a non-exotic restaurant in Hammersmith W6?

I'm going to a gig at the Apollo Hammersmith this Saturday night with my mother, and she wants to go to a restaurant beforehand. She's quite frail so we'll be arriving by taxi, and I'd like to find a plain restaurant really close to the Apollo as she can't walk very far at all (5 minutes slow walk maximum, or I guess we could hop in another taxi to get to the hall). She likes Garfunkels, Pizza Hut, Aberdeen Steakhouse etc - can anyone recommend somewhere please?

this shopping centre is next to the hammersmith tube stop and is probably your best bet for something plain that your mum will like. probably smollenskys bar and grill which is american.
