After hearing about PPI reclaim for years I haven't done anything because as far back as I can remember, I hadn't taken any PPI. But I had a small itch at the back of my mind from when I was in my late teens (nearly 25 years ago) that I was told I had to take out PPI to get my first loan for a car. So, after reading about the Resolver tool, I thought I would try my luck. I couldn't even remember the lender but knew it was a high street bank so tried a couple. This was on the 30 March. Funnily enough the letters from both arrived yesterday. The first said they couldn't find any trace of me on their records. The second, listed that I'd had 4 loans in total with them over a period of several years, 2 of which had PPI for which my case will be upheld!! I wasn't expecting anything, thought if I was really lucky, it might be a few hundred pounds - but due to the time and compensation, I'm getting over £7000!!!!
I'm absolutely flabbergasted!!! I've always been so good and careful with money and I nearly let this slip the net, I just sat there staring at the letter and burst into tears then was laughing and dancing around the room, you'd have thought I'd won the lottery!!! Just so happy!! If anyone is unsure, just try it!! I had no details, a very rough date but it looks like all the bank really needs is your name and date of birth. I've now spent most of my Sunday with my family helping them raise their cases on the Resolver tool. :rotfl::T:beer::j:D:D:D

You don't need to use any particular letter, the bank will contact you if they need more detailsSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
