Mayonnaise and Branston Pickle

When my lad visited over Christmas he bought himself a small jar of mayonnaise and one of Branston Pickle.

I don't like mayonnaise at all and wouldn't touch H's Mayonnaise with a barge pole even if I did.

Branston I might use about oh... once every two years.

So... to save me chucking the stuff away - how do I disguise the Branston to such an extent that I don't know it's there...?

And what on earth do I do with the mayo loaded with E numbers?

    Hi Squeaky

Sometimes I put Branston/Cheaper Version pickle in currys/cassaroles etc if I havent any onions in. You dont taste the pickle taste much and works very well. :D

Mix the two together...call it a dip. Cut a load of carrot sticks, celery, cucumber, tiddly toms etc, serve to visitors as 'crudities' (?)icon10.gif

Maybe if you don't want to use the mayo as a face mask - you could use the pickle instead?

Does the loaf completely hide the pickle taste? Seems doubtful to me...?
