Halifax - Some praise regarding an ATM dispute

Normally when I've had to dispute any issues I've had they have taken almost the full amount of days they say it will take to resolve the issue.
For once though, I'm actually pleased at how long they took to help me. On Wednesday night I tried withdrawing some cash from a corner shop cash point just outside. I requested £10, and after a few minutes of waiting after it said please take your cash, nothing. My account had been debited the £10 though.
So I got home later on, and called the helpline and was told it would take up to 15 working days for them to investigate and resolve it.
The following evening, I got a text message telling me the outcome of the dispute and the investigation was completed. The available balance on my account had increased by £10. :T
Has anyone here ever had an ATM dispute but had it resolved in a short amount of time in their favour?

I guess due to the value of the transaction they didn't even investigate the issue. If it was allot larger amount the outcome may have been different.0

.............or if you have made a number of ATM claims (they do keep records) they might look a bit deeper.0

It depends on whether the cash machine is owned by the same bank. Twice I've raised an ATM dispute with Lloyds (once my fault, once cash machine fault), which took about 1 week. A claim with Nationwide (for a pay-in rather than withdrawal) took about 6 weeks and only dealt with when they received a letter-before-action.0
