Food Standards Agency Ratings Warning

I guess I'd like the EHO to provide a more comprehensive set of criteria but what I think I'm really asking is for a more trustworthy independent review which overlaps Trading Standards practices. Having a clean kitchen and a 5 rating dosent cover the takeaway that sells turkey as ham or flavoured tofu as cheese on pizzas.0

The 5 star rating doesn't cover the takeaway outlet that routinely shouts the delivery driver to hop behind the counter when busy, to take out pizzas from the oven, box up kebabs etc without washing hands first.
Just because they have a sign up saying wash hands doesn't mean it happens.0 -
I was under the impression that if you got a zero they closed the premises. You could only open again once you had made improvements.
Not necessarily, but they do have the power to do so in extreme cases. More likely is the premises gets an improvement notice and has a set time period to improve.0
