Lots of good news there @Mum2Nan
@Baileys_Babe - yes there was rather a lot of good news for a change!

Very pleased to hear the good news Mum2Nan, must be such a relief.
@maggiem - thank you and yes it's definitely a relief now things are sorted out.  The icing on the cake was to find out my ex-boss is my line manager.  We've already spoken several times yesterday and today.
I was due to have a dental appointment this afternoon but the receptionist called this morning and cancelled it, not even a reschedule was offered.  I was told they would contact me later this week to do that.  Just as well I'm not in as much pain as last week!
We have received a comms to say our office will be shut again indefinitely from this evening so no travel expenses for me tomorrow.  I was enjoying going in one day a week as well but no point in taking any unnecessary risks. This means today is unexpectedly NSD3 and tomorrow could well be 4!
I know credit scores and reports are meaningless to anyone else but it's pleasing to see my score is creeping up as my utilisation gradually reduces.  I am registered with the free ones, Karma (previously Noddle), MSE Credit Club and ClearScore.

Lots of lovely blood news.  Isn't it nice how people you will probably never meet are so supportive and kind to each other.

This made me lol @Blackcats :)
I've done unexpectedly well with NSDs this week.  I really wish I had kept a track of them this month.
Life is treating me kindly at the moment and long may it continue.

Another week has flown by mainly due to being busy.
BF over last Friday evening until Sunday mid-morning, housework and then over to my parents for Sunday dinner stopping off at the farm shop.
Have worked solid 12 hour days so far this week due to sheer volume of work.  Am not complaining as before lockdown I was out of my flat 12 hours a day including commuting.
I've had to give in and put the heating on a little.  There has been a real downturn in the weather and last night we had consistently heavy rain.  It's damp and chilly this morning.
Today is the start of my new role and it's almost the same as my old one so it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
I have already checked all debts and repayments have been made this morning.  A couple of bills still need to go out tomorrow but I'm not interested in those.  This means I have now moved down into the next £1K bracket.  I was going to pay another £100 off the MC but decided to transfer the money into my car pot to cover the money spent on a new tyre last month.  Still no balance transfer offer from BC.  Need to transfer the MC balance by 3 December so starting to feel a bit nervous about it.
I have had another 3 NSDs this week.
Cannot believe we are now in October!

So I started my new role today.  I'm more or less doing my previous role except I have lost one or two of my tasks and gained a couple of others.  Unfortunately one of the tasks I have retained I wouldn't have minded losing as it's a real drag but not going to complain about it as I feel lucky to have a job.  I have also lost a senior director and 2 other directors but have gained a bigger team overall so had 4 skype meetings with the new team members.  They knew me by name and I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad but decided after the conversations it was good.
I was rather preoccupied after I logged onto work this morning though because I couldn't work out the difference between my spreadsheet and balance in the bank which was out by £50 (in my favour) and couldn't seem to account for it but eventually found an error on one of the formulas on my spreadsheet.  I'm not sure how it happened but sometimes do play around with the figures so could have been that I guess.  Somehow it seemed much more important than work this morning.  After I tripple checked everything I moved it to the MC and updated my signature again.
The receptionist at the dentist finally called me this afternoon after my cancelled appointment last week (this should happened at the end of last week) and I have to wait another 2 weeks for my next appointment.
