Merging limits on three New Day cards

Wondering whether anyone has tried this and what the outcome was before I contact New Day.

As per the title, I have three New Day cards, one Aqua card (credit limit £3300) an Amazon card (£500 credit limit) and a Dorothy Perkins card (£600 credit limit). I do use all three but I have never carried a balance on any of them. What I would like to do is keep Amazon, close Aqua and Dorothy Perkins and have the Aqua and DP limits merged to the Amazon card. Has anyone tried this with New Day before?

It's unlikely, given the profit and risk sharing nature of the NewDay business model, in terms of the partners.

Probably not a cat-in-hell's chance of getting the limits merged but you can always ask.

Don't despair about limit increases from New Day though. My Amazon card came with a £500 credit limit and I was going to close it because such a low limit is to me more of an insult than useful. But I held on to it and now after a single increase my credit limit is now £1,400. Still much lower than the limits on other cards I have but better than 500 quid.

My experience with the Amazon card is about the same as my previous experience with Aqua also issued by New Day. i.e. get close to the limit and keep up with payments, even clearing the balance every month if you want to and they come up with a limit increase active after 40 days. The difference is with Aqua I had to keep a short-term balance to game a limit increase but with Amazon I don't have to keep a balance.
  • Capital One allow consolidation between their C1 cards and Luma cards.

I am not sure if New Day offer this - you would need to ask
