Any point in keeping an A&L account open?

I opened an A&L account over a year ago, and have run it at the same time as my "main" current account. It was ok whilst I had the regular saver, but the normal interest rates and facilities are not as good as my main account.
I do "feed" it with £500 p.m. to avoid charges, so it's a bit of a pain doing that. Is there any point in keeping it open?

No, I'd chuck it. Then in 3months time (i think), if they bring out some fantastic offer, you can apply again as a new customer (if you can be bothered!)
I'm about to chuck mine since the new overdraft fees came in.0 -
Yeah, you'll only lose out on future offers if you keep it open. Ditch it!0

Same here... It can go by the wayside, for the sake of the 8% abbey one. Plus they've got a sweep service, which I think? will allow you to push money into the regular saver... Prob not though, cos that would simply be tooooooooo convenient wouldn't it..
It's also a pity that the super saver 10% died a death as well (unless you're stupid enough to take out one of their other investment products SIMPLY to get the 10% saver)....
If you can... try use up one last referral bonus, before you kill it off.
The teenager account Premier21, does look bloody good for kids.. So if nowt else you can give 'em your 40 quid, making it 80 for them.....
Hell, I wouldn't sniff at that, let alone if I were under 21, still...
Oh and I don't think you get charged for just having the account.. I drip feed 3 pounds in and out on a Standing Order, not 500!
I only do this so that I've got somethng to 'switch', for another bank offer.....
3 quid in from BoS account.. (yep I did receive my 100, from them for opening that one)... 3 SO's out......0
