Equiniti deducting admin charge from divi payable
longforgotten
My Mum passed away and as executor I contacted Equiniti to change shares into my own name and asked them to pay me any dividends due, and they sent out cheques. Great.
On the two divis payable in the y/e 5/4/2017 they have deducted an admin fee of £7.50 off one and £40 off the other.
Thank the lord there were no admin deductions in the y/e 5/4/2018.
Why admin fees in one year but not the next ?

Have you asked Equiniti? Sounds like a charge for transferring shares into your name and (?)re-issuing dividend payments to you.0
