I had a complaint that an item I listed as grey didn't look grey in the photo- they thought it was white.
The said they were very busy and didn't have time to read descriptions, and they collected it so could have complained at the time.

I used to sell mobile phone cases, and one time had an angry message and negative feedback from a buyer stating that the case was useless as there was 'writing all over it'.

I replied politely that the writing says 'Please remove before use' (it was a protective seal on the cover).

Never heard anything back, but did manage to get the negative removed.

    Leather sofas generally aren't.

I have read this book before, and realise now that the first time I did not enjoy it. I would like to return it please. I explained politely this wasn't a library and that he'd decided to bid so was committed to the buy.

Blocked. Bizarrely left no feedback, expected a neg.

I sold a cable as fitting x model but not fitting y model (y being the other most common type of this device, which needs a different cable).

Buyer complained that it did not fit the z model they had and since I had not stated "it does not fit z model", it was my fault that it did not fit z model, the description was not only misleading but apparently also fraudulent...

I replied that I was sorry it did not fit however it was not really possible to list every device that it didn't fit... they were clearly very aggrieved.

Sold a DVD of a Spanish film, listed with the Spanish title, included a picture of the Spanish cover, gave a description that described the Spanish film, added a link to the imdb page that listed the Spanish cast & crew and generally spoke to its Spanishiness.

Feedback: "I don't like foreign films"
