Reclaim student loan

I took out student loans from 1997 to 2001 and have received a letter from Erudio that my loan has been paid off.
I paid the loan voluntarily. I’ve always been self employed so earnt under the threshold where it’s mandatory to pay the loan. I had the mortgage style repayment loan, not the newer ones where you pay according to your earnings. I paid a fixed amount per month.
My question is, now that the loan has been paid off, can I claim
back what I’ve paid?
