What exactly does it mean that these accounts are “disqualified”?
What this means is if you have an account specifically used for entering sweepstakes and/or giveaways, you are still more than welcome to enter – you are just not allowed to use that giveaway account to do so.
When we check your Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook entry when pulled, and we see mostly non-giveaway tweets or posts within roughly 2-3 scrolls, you are fine to enter.
We are not trying to be difficult, or to make anybody’s entry process more difficult. We are simply trying to weed out a major hassle for ourselves, and to protect drone and Slickwraps enthusiasts and fans.
Any sweepstakes/giveaway accounts will have their entry immediately cancelled at Slickwraps' discretion.
Why are we disqualifying sweepstakes/giveaway accounts?
The goal of Slickwraps with this giveaway is to give back to fans of Slickwraps and Marzbar by providing them the opportunity to win something badass, to those who would appreciate it. We are not a giveaway site, and are not looking to cater to people who are just looking to win as many products as they can. We know the majority of entrants are not these people and that this rule may seem harsh to some. However, to protect our community and the brands we work with, we ask that you enter with a non-sweepstakes or giveaway account.
We are a community that loves tech, whether it’s the newest phone, or the most recent drone to be released, or a beloved laptop. If you are someone that fits this description than we would love for you to become a part of the Slickwraps family, but we hope that you understand why we have introduced this rule.
