That's just a fund of the top 100 shares traded on the London Stock Exchange - missing out on the rest of the world. If I could only invest in one fund it would be HSBC FTSE All-World Index fund.0 -

Yes. Even without knowing how it fits with your wider portfolio (e.g. a uk equity fund fits the UK allocation. You would no doubt have a japan equity fund for Japan, US equity fund for US etc), picking the worst stockmarket index in the western world is not a good idea for all the reasons mentioned already.
