Just applied online for a balance transfer to Virgin, and as part of the process got the message "If your Virgin Money Credit Card account is in credit please contact us before requesting a balance transfer to avoid any unnecessary fees."
Does this add Virgin to the list of issuers happy to transfer a positive balance to a current account?

It means that they can't charge a balance transfer fee to refund a credit balance.
You will need to call them and see what they say.0
