I was going to do something today about this only to find out that I have been sacked as a BG.

To say I am upset is an understatement. I have done my best in recent months to keep this board flowing and when we had the problem with the troll last month I was pulling my hair out trying to get MSE to take action, and got no help from them or other BG's.
So its goodnight from me and good luck to whoever they find to replace me they will need it some days on here !

ps if anyone is interested in the reason they have given me for giving me the elbow pm me and I will explain. x

Sadly Jen it is, laughable really as I was told just after I became a BG that "everyone" deserves a second chance.
Unfortunately its "probably" down to one poster on DT that doesn't like me, but I'll never know for sure.
Anyway whats done is done and I will continue to play my part on this forum in a private capacity, but my opinion of MSE is rather jaded by this.:mad:

sorry to hear that venison, i'm don't know what the history is that's occasionally referred to but I do know how hard it is to be a moderator/guide/forum owner and try to keep everybody happy and the board running. You tried your best, with your hands tied behind your back it seemed, thank you for trying

He's already confirmed the reason in reply to Glaswejen.

He's widely believed to be a member who previously received a permanent ban (Woodbine).

You can understand that this puts MSE in an awkward position, especially when posters are begging them to deal with AEs who come back after being banned.

Ames I understand what you are saying but MSE knew I had "been here before" and told me "everyone deserves a second chance", its the duplicity that I find annoying, its ok when they need me then suddenly its all wrong?
Only a couple of posters across the whole of mse seemed to have a problem with this.

But thanks to those who have messaged me with their support, I'd better say that before they delete this entire thread and probably ban me again !

To me it feels more like they've removed you from the position as you'll speak up when things aren't right, you don't obediently toe the line as other BGs do.

But what do I know!
