Bank Account for Putting Money By

I’m looking to put some money by each month for car servicing, car insurance, holidays, etc. I’m not really looking for a high savings account but one I can gain instant access to when I want to make a purchase. I’m looking to keep the money I put aside, separate from my regular bank account. Any suggestions on a good account?

I’d rather not have a minimum pay in or have to have direct debits going out.

With the paying money in, you just transfer it in, then back out again.
Ive got a few of these sorts & its just circulating the same money round several accounts
