Several people have managed to post helpful responses (turn2us, CAB) so clearly they can see through the mire!

How is answering none of your questions and directing you to a different website showing they can read your post? :rotfl::rotfl:

Indeed, all they have said is "here is a good advice website". That would be an appropriate, if vague, answer to ANY question. Certainly doesn't indicate they understand the OP's situation in any way.

I wasn't criticising your literacy skills, I was pointing out that you had one random paragraph which, contrary to the rest of your post which was fine, misused the word "I" as well as the contraction "I'm".

Assuming you sat down and wrote the post, it doesn't really make sense why you wrote a random paragraph in that style; wedged between paragraphs which were fine. Hence it looking like a copy and paste job.

Out of curiosity, but why did you change writing style in that manner?

People generally don't make completely consistent grammatical/typographical errors. They make them when their attention slips. You may recheck and proofread your posts for consistency; most people will not do that.

Pointing someone in the direction of relevant help is surely what this forum is all about, instead of silly/abusive comments from long-standing members who really should know better.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

    Abusive? Oh please.

The point she was making is that the answers were generic and didn't require understanding of the original post.

If you honestly think that "Go to the CAB website" is sufficient answer to any question posted here then I am not sure why you would bother looking at it. Go straight to the CAB.
