Mortgage Life Insurance

Hi

Just looking for abit of advice,

I own 4 properties all 50/50 with my brother all have mortgages on them. It seems sensible to sort out life insurance now, as its something we havent done yet just in case something was to happen to one of us

3 of the flats are buy to lets, and 1 is on a residential if that makes any difference

Just looking for some advice on where to go, what exactly it is insurance wise i'd be looking for

Thanks!

How were they bought? Tenants in common or joint tenants?
First thing to do is to make a will.
Have you drawn up an agreement as to what happens to the buy to lets if anything happens to either of you?

For insurance as a ball park what is the total amount of mortgages on all of the properties - then take it from there.
