Engagesciences - anyone know about them?

I've started seeing (or possibly just noticing) that "engagesciences" are turning up in links to several comps here.

I think I had tons of spam emails from these a while ago, and I'm nearly sure much of it seemed to be phishing scam emails.

The thing is that it is showing on what looks like legitimate radio sites as in posted here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5833524/e-27-04-9am-15-entries-win-10-000-ca-dg-postcodes (click on "New Style entry form" and you'll see it in the url). This makes me wonder if I'm mixing it up with something with a similar name. On the other hand, the likelihood is that the scammers got my email address from doing comps.

So I thought I'd flag it up here and see if anyone knows better than me - which is usually the case :o:D

As far as we compers are concerned engagesciences and wayin (who merged a few years ago) just run the entry forms for virtually all Bauer magazines and radio comps in a similar way to Gleam and Rafflecopter running entry forms for bloggers etc. and prpage.co runs the entry forms for other comps such as Kitchen Garden magazine. I would be amazed if they are the source of any SPAM/Phishing.

Virtually all the forms on Bauer comps are wayin/engagesciences, although much of the time the form is embedded in the Bauer webpage and you don't notice. A current example is THIS comp - note the "Alternative Link" I have put at the bottom and compare it to the form on the main link. In the example you have given the two entry forms ("old" and "new") are actually the same engagesciences form except the "old" one is separated from the rest of the webpage. I do this because it is quicker to open the "old" form in multiple tabs as you don't have to scroll down every time to get to it.

Thanks One-Eye - I guess it must've just been a very similar name. I wouldn't want to malign the wrong company.

Yeah, they do The Metro competitions too, I'm sure.

    Edit : Yup, here's an old one : https://display.engagesciences.com/display/container/d/21d96b5d-b45c-4fd2-8032-84be3cc4732b/details

Oneye, how do you manage to separate the entry form from the main Bauer page? I have noticed the entry form is now on the main detail page and as you say you have to scroll down to find it. I am just curious how you manage to very kindly give us a link with just the entry form.

    Thanks

    Example: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5835346/e-03-05-6pm-15-entries-win-10-000-west-midlands

    Using Chrome:
    1) Click into the Name box, right click and choose "Inspect"
    2) In the source code, scroll up about 8 lines to the line beginning iframe src=
    3) Right click and choose "Copy Link Address"
    4) Paste it wherever you want it.

    Other browsers have similar methods.
If using MS Edge you will have to press "F12" key first so that "Inspect element" appears as an option when you right click.
Some browsers don't have a "Copy Link Address" option so you may have to copy the whole line as a first stage then copy the entry form link (the bit between " ") as a second stage.
