Thanks Martin - after following you instructions to reclaim loan insurance, we have received a cheque from Lloyds TSB for £963. We took out the loan just after my husband was made redundant, he had another job to start 3 weeks later but hadn't started it. We followed your advice and came up trumps. Apparently the cheque was a "good will gesture" and their records said my husband was working 16 hours a week when the loan was taken out - he has always worked full time!
