AA Warranty

Hi there, looking for some advice.
I have recently purchased a car with what was sold as an 'AA Warranty' for £200. I was given an AA membership number, and upon applying it to my AA account, it has listed that it is just an AA 'Parts and Garage Cover' which costs only £127 per year if I was to take it out myself.
AA do offer warranties, and I don't think this is it - was I missold?
Thanks:j
