How much do tropical aquariums cost to keep warm?

My lovely partner has her heart set on making her 29 litre aquarium a tropical one. This looks like she needs a 50w heater. Obviously I appreciate that how often a house heating is on etc all affects cost, but does anyone have a ballpark figure for how much in the UK it might cost to keep one at temperature? I honestly have no idea if we're talking £2 a month or £15!

It'll be somewhat less than £2 per month I'd imagine.
I used to have a 200 litre tropical tank, when I sold it 5 years ago, monthly electricity usage dropped by about £5 per month but bear in mind that included the filters and lighting too which you're already paying for atm anyway with a cold water tank, and of course the power requirements for a 29l tank will be way less than for a 200l.0 -
I used to have 2x tropical tanks running, one 300L one 50L. I have a smart meter and the impact is not really noticeable. We changed to a single 100L tank and there's been virtually no change to monthly bill so I'm guessing closer to £2/month than £15!0
