Air France strikes

Hi, booked to go on holiday to Japan next Monday and just found out that there's been calls for more strikes on the Monday and Tuesday. We're flying from Birmingham to CDG and then CDG to Seoul on Air France flights but our final connection is operated by Asiana so that should be fine but the first two are a concern. It says that currently they can't evaluate the impact of the action but that their flight schedule will be updated as soon as they do and made public the day before departure. It also says:

"If you are booked on a flight departing on the dates mentioned above, we now offer rebooking options at no extra cost, no matter the fare."

So my questions are:

1. Should I re-book now or wait and see what happens. Should I see if the strikes on Thursday go ahead first. There's also supposed to be a vote on a pay deal on Friday. What are the pros/cons of taking immediate action versus waiting to see if it's a problem and tackling it then.

2. How does this work when I didn't book through Air France originally. I made the booking through budgetair.co.uk. Do I have to go through them to rebook? Will I still be able to rebook at no extra cost as above?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
