Incorrect financial association

Options
I've just checked my Experian credit report using the MSE Credit Club and discovered that they still have me financially associated with my ex-husband through a joint bank account with Nationwide. We've been separated for 7 years, divorced for 6 years, and are both now re-married. I retained the account after we split and he was removed from the account in January 2012, before the date listed on the report as being the date the association was confirmed. It has been in my sole name since.

In 2015 I went through my credit reports for all the big three and put in requests to remove this association. Evidently, Experian did not do this. This might be complicated by the fact that they have his date of birth wrong - they've got mine down as being his.

My new husband and I are going to be applying for a mortgage in a couple of months, so I want to make sure this erroneous association is removed before then. Can anyone give me some pointers on how I can get this done?

TIA
