Exchanging contracts tomorrow but have a problem

Hi, we have been painfully waiting to exchange contracts and its happening tomorrow however i have been provided with our Natwest mortgage redemption statement by our solicitors today and can see an error.

On the statement it states there is a redemption charge of 1700, there shouldn't be one as were porting the mortgage to our new property, we were told this during application with Natwest.

I plan to call Natwest tomorrow first thing but what will happen?

Will this be a quick fix by natwest or will it delay completion which is going to be this friday.

Do i ignore it until after completion and then raise the issue with Natwest afterwards?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Flag it with your solicitor first thing in the morning. Shouldn't delay matters.

The covering letter he sent with the redemption statement said there is a £150 plus VAT charge for them to get confirmation to waiver the ERC. Hopefully this won't be the case as it's Natwest who have made the error??

    Gap between Exchange & Completion/

Should be sorted out in the gap.
