Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this. I have got someone coming out on 12th May but want a rough idea just in case I need to brace myself!
Probably about 20sqm area fully installed in the Hampshire area.

It needs proper preparation just like a driveway.
They will remove all the existing turf and strip it back to a natural sub base. Then depending on the natural sub base, clay etc it will get either 50-80mm of sharp sand or some kind of crushed rock. Either way to do it properly it won't be cheap.0 -
It is very expensive. Expect to pay at least £50 per sqm supply and fit if you want the good quality stuff.0

You sure? 20 meter (sic) squared is 400 square metres, or do you mean 2o square metres?0

Thank's Suzie that is the kind of figure that I was expecting to be honest. We have 3 dogs and in the 7 months we have owned the property the dogs have made the garden into a quagmireMtg Balance £147,000 : Savings £7,000 / £10,000

I just did my front house garden by myself for just £500. It is about 5x4 metre.
The harder part was levelling the surface and digging up old grass with spade.
It took me about a week to complete this project.
To bring the surface upto car drive level i spend about 60-70 sand bags.
all you need to do watch some installation video which are plenty on youtube.
We got cheap deal from home bargain for the artifical turf.0 -

Whilst I appreciate your post there is no way we could do this. I have not long suffered meningitis and my partner is working 80 hour weeks at the moment.
Thank you though.Mtg Balance £147,000 : Savings £7,000 / £10,000

Can't help with the cost for professional install as we did ours ourselves, but you will love it with dogs! we have six and 9 years later it is still in good condition and no muddy paw prints.
You will need to stock up on disinfectant, "pee off" is a good one to keep it clean and smelling nice.every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.0 -
This might sound mad, but on the private estate where I live, in order to use articifical grass you need Planning Permission! (This is Bracknell Forest).0
