Two hit and runs on my £4k car
So Iv owned my car for less than a month.
Around 2 weeks ago when I came out of a shopping centre I noticed the paint mark and scratches on the front bumper.
I phoned police to report but apparently it's going to take ages to check cctv.
Today I noticed some massive scrape of green on my car. It's real bad.
What's wrong with people??? Hit and run a nice car
I'm faced with two different insurance claims.
Iv owned the car for so little time and understand that this is the downside of having one.
My excess is £250 so I guess illl be making two insurance claims, hoping that one of them will be sorted if they manage to catch the driver.
Shall I just get it fixed on my own and move on?
Direct line have a hit when parked policy which I'm hoping to use. Is it worth it
Feeling really glum about this

Can you post photos? We can give a better idea as to the cost and whether its better to pay out of your own pocket than make a claim with all the downsides that go with that.
That is what its there for. You may still see a rise in insurance quotes next year though.Direct line have a hit when parked policy which I'm hoping to use. Is it worth itThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
