Legal advice against recruitment agency

Hi, Just looking for some advice!
So..... I was due to start a new job on Tuesday- I had the job offer through and accepted it through an agency so all was well. (The complaint isn't against the agency I was using)
Then I get an email off a different agency (that I've dealt with in the past) asking me if I was interested in a role they had (not the same role) I replied to the email to say can you advise more on the role, I've just accepted an offer but I'm not overjoyed with it all. (I didn't mention what company or role it was)
Little did I know this recruitment agency had already sent someone into the same business for an interview for the same role as me. So the hiring manager has said to them, we are offering the job to someone else (me) and therefore rejected their candidate.
That agency has then forwarded on my email about not being overjoyed to the hiring woman so that she would reject me and give it to her candidate instead!! So on Friday the company have withdrawn their offer and give it to the other person with that recruitment company leaving me with no job!!!
Who can I complain to about this?
I have already sent a complaint to the Director of said recruitment agency but I want to know if I have a legal case?? Breach of confidentiality and data protection??? Please help!

You need to break that big block of text into readable sentences , I'm finding it difficult to make sense of it

The agency woman has somehow found out the job was offered to me and forwarded on my email about not being overjoyed to the hiring woman!! So on Friday the company have withdrawn their offer and give it to the other person with that recruitment company leaving me with no job!!!

You can complain to whoever will listen to you but you don't have any legal redress about a withdrawal of a job offer.
That's life.

The complaint is about an agency that I wasn't even using disclosing my private and confidential email to the company for their own gain.
NOT against the company I was going to work for.
And if you've got nothing useful to add, find something else to do with your day.0 -

(Putting aside that you yourself said you weren't overjoyed) you still have no legal redress.
EDITED: I see the Op has amended their OP, somehow the second agency managed to work out which company & role the OP had applied for despite the OP not telling them, and somehow, the OP has worked out the second agency sent on his email to the hiring company but hasn't said what proof they have of this, and the OP hasn't said what proof they have the hiring company used this as a reason to withdraw the job - I mean, how would the OP know the second agency candidate got the job, do companies normally say who got the job when you didn't and where they came from?. I'm going to revise down my mark to an "E")Originally Posted by shortcrust

And me.
How do you know the agency forwarded your email?0 -
I voted no - think of it as lucky escape? Saves the first few weeks walk out if you were not totally happy. Things happen for a reason, I was ready to call my current employer all sorts when I couldn’t seemingly apply to a role but walking into find the ‘newly recalled’ colleague I see they made the right choice.
Job market is so fierce right now, next time say nowt to be safe.
Now you have the chances to get the job you would want.

Well you make such a lovely first impression I'm sure you'll find something else soon enough.0 -
There were a few niggles I had in my mind about the role earlier in the week at that time, these were straightened out after the email was sent.0

I know this because the hiring company have told me that they have had the email forwarded to them and that is the reason why they have withdrawn their offer. Sorry if it isn't clear it's difficult to explain!0
