Duplicate entry on credit report

On my credit report (through the MSE credit club), there are two entries for my credit card with Lloyds. One is up to date showing 0, and the other line is from 2016 and shows a debt of £150. I raised a query as to why it was there on the report itself, and they told me to go direct to Lloyds. Lloyds have been completely unhelpful and slow in their responses. I've sent them three letters, two of which were chasers, and now they want my credit file to resolve the query? I've already sent them a screenshot of the duplicate entry so I don't understand what they want here.
Does a duplication on the report actually go against you in any way? I don't know whether it would be clear to potential lenders that this is just an old entry of the same card which isn't being used often at the moment. I really don't want to send over the file if it doesn't really make any difference.

Do you have a current debt on the account?0

Are you sure that this card is actually being reported twice? When you say the 'other line' could it be that you don't know how to read the report and are looking at the payment history for months 13-24?
Can you confirm that there are two completely separate entries for this card. What is the status of the one from 2016? Is it showing green ticks and status 0? What is the last updated date?
In the section which shows total available credit. is this card and the credit limit shown twice?0 -
No current debt on the card.
First line, entry code C1, Current Status 'up to date', last updated 02/10/16, balance £150 credit in use, credit limit £1000.
Second line, entry code C2, current status 'up to date', last updated 04/03/2018, balance £0 credit in use, credit limit £1000.
Account started dates are the same for each and the £150 is included on 'my lending balance'.0 -
It definitely appears to be a duplicate entry but is it actually doing any harm?0

Also, if your mobile phone contract expires, should it remain on your open accounts despite being settled a long time ago? It is currently showing my old contract with a £0 balance and my new one with my current balance.0

Are you the OP or a new poster?
If the account is closed and settled it will show as that.0 -
I think it's quite obvious I'm not the OP but it was related to the thread. Is it because I upgraded my phone that my original contract is not deemed as closed?0

Depends on what deal you signed
Did you take a new contract at a new monthly cost?0 -
Yes I did
The other "account" was paid off and has a zero balance.0 -
Ask them to remove it then0
