Ford fiesta reversing damage into wall cost estimate?

Hi,
I recently reversed into a brick wall right in the corner of my rear bumper and it's damaged the rear quarter panel and also heavily scuffed the bumper. I'm not sure how to include a picture as I'm using an iPhone to post this. The rear bumper looks fine just scuffed but the metal part where the bumper connects to the car shell has been bent and will need to be pulled out. How much in the best and worst case scenario would it be to repair?

Blimey, you've done that properly!Harrihealey02 wrote: »

I think that's going to need a rear wing... Bumper may just need repainting, depending on the scuffs. Scrapes on the light might polish out.
Even if they can pull the wing out, I doubt you're going to see change from four figures.
How's the wall?0 -
How old is the car?Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0

Certainly an insurance job and possibly a write off.0

Looks expensive. Maybe get an estimate first to give you a ball park figure which will let you decide whether to put it through the insurance, but as a Fiesta owner who had a very low speed front end shunt that resulted in well over £1000 in repairs costs (it looked nothing like as bad as yours) I wouldn't be surprised if insurance is your best option.0

Jesus that's not a light whack. Judging by the distortion over the wheel arch in the reflections you're possibly looking at a full rear quarter, not just pulling that back out.
At best several hundred to a thousand quid, at worst a couple of grand. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Visit 3 different bodyshops (including a Ford dealer and 2 independents) for a written quote. Then use your Insurance, you will have some idea what to expect. I don't think you can avoid using your insurance company, unless you have a big bag of spare cash.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
